Best Practices & Success Stories

Best Practices & Success Stories

Collection of existing practices and success stories

Zero GPG partners have described 12 examples of Best Practice (two from each partner) by using the same template in order to make them, to a certain extent, comparable. Most examples stem from the partners’ countries, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece and Italy – with the exception of three examples, where experiences from Scandinavia and from the Netherlands have been included.

The success stories include Laws, Action Plans and initiatives from public institutions and from private companies. The measures that have been described tackle different fields of action, e.g. income equality in companies, overtime work, maternity and parental leave, reconciliation of private and professional work etc. and intent to answer the question in how far these measures can help to reduce the Gender Pay Gap.

In order to facilitate the orientation, the following list, besides the title of the measure and the country in which it is or has been implemented, also provides information about: which ZeroGPG partner organization presented the example, which are the key words (the main fields being tackled) and the main target group.

A part from these 12 examples we are integrating to the portal eight more examples from Italy and one from Bulgaria which have been described by using a first version of template which is less exhaustive. However, we decided that, even so, this information (= these further success stories) should not be lost.
